What began as a simple online post in 2013 has blossomed into something extraordinary. Over the last decade, Culture Calendar has evolved from a passionate hobby into a trusted haven and a vital social club for women over 40.
In the beginning, we focused on bringing women together through coach trips, exploring the finest performing arts, music concerts, comedy nights, and cultural events. But after more than 10 years of building this community, our mission has grown. Today, Culture Calendar has transitioned into a dynamic digital space, championing community connection through online podcasting, storytelling, and journalling.
A Trusted Leader in Community Connection
Steering this community for over a decade has been a privilege. It has earned us the right to stand proud as a leader in bringing communities together—creating spaces where women don’t just network, but truly belong.
We saw the true power of this connection during the pandemic. By pivoting to a private Facebook group, we offered virtual tours and forward-looking hope that kept spirits high. As one member beautifully shared, Culture Calendar was a literal lifeline during a time of deep personal struggle. We have always been, and always will be, so much more than just event planners; we are a beacon of support.
