Culture Calendar Women’s Social Group enjoyed an unforgettable day out filled with friendship, fun, and fabulous entertainment! After a relaxing afternoon in Lytham St Annes, we made our way to The Winter Gardens Theatre, Blackpool for a dazzling performance of the iconic Chicago the Musical.

This legendary Broadway classic had us hooked from the opening number! Based on a true story from 1920s America, Chicago tells the tale of Roxie Hart — a woman accused of murder who turns her trial into a media circus with the help of a slick-talking lawyer. It’s a bold, cheeky, and stylish show about fame, scandal, and the American dream.

From the sassy choreography to the unforgettable soundtrack, every moment on stage was pure theatrical magic. It’s no surprise our group voted it one of the best nights out we’ve had!
