Once upon a time, Culture Calendar operated as a vibrant women’s social group. Our mission was simple yet powerful: bringing women together for great days out in different towns and cities, fostering new friendships, and sharing the magic of live theatre.
When the Chicago the Musical UK tour rolled around, we knew we had to secure excellent seats for our community. We gathered a wonderful group of arts lovers and headed to The Winter Gardens Theatre in Blackpool.
To add a little extra sparkle to our cultural adventure, we paired the high-octane energy of the show with a relaxing, picturesque coastal town of Lytham St Annes beforehand. It was the perfect blend of relaxation and showbiz glitz.
A Confession from the Founder, Catherine Glachan: “I had actually already seen this exact same performance just a few weeks prior. But Chicago The Musical is just that good. With its energetic choreography, catchy tunes, and witty dialogue, it captivates you with stage magic from start to finish.
