A Night of Jazz, Joy, and Friendship
Swing into Christmas was a night of timeless jazz music, festive sparkle, and unforgettable live entertainment—an experience perfectly suited for women who love performing arts and are looking to expand their social circles.
As a proud part of Culture Calendar, a women’s social group for Merseyside and West Lancashire, we knew this magical evening would be a hit—and we were right!
Set in the breathtaking surroundings of St George’s Hall Concert Room in Liverpool, this elegant venue provided the perfect backdrop for a night of friendship, laughter, and cultural delight.
From the moment the 30-piece Swing Orchestra took to the stage, we were transported back to the golden age of jazz.
With toe-tapping rhythms and swoon-worthy melodies, the orchestra delivered a spectacular set of festive swing tunes that had us smiling, swaying—and in some cases—singing right along.
The concert paid timeless tribute to jazz legends like Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, and Billie Holiday. These beloved classics were brought back to life with bold, fresh arrangements and masterful musicianship that truly captured the spirit of the season.
Culture Calendar Ladies were swept away by unforgettable renditions of “New York, New York,” “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” and “That’s Life.” It was truly a musical feast!
A shared experience that brought together women from all walks of life who simply love great company, great music, and great nights out.
At Culture Calendar, we believe in “Entertainment Made Easy”—we plan every detail, from venues and tickets to transport and table plans, so you can just show up, relax, and enjoy.
Whether you’re single, divorced, widowed, recently relocated, or simply craving new connections, this is your invitation to join a welcoming women’s community who love live theatre, music, comedy, and cultural days out.
