What a fantastic night at The Atkinson Theatre, Southport.

There have been occasions when we have visited smaller, local Theatres, and there is no guarantee what to expect, but on this occasion, Culture Calendar really did hit the jackpot!

Strictly star Robin Windsor featured. You could see the subtle difference between competitive dance champion and other, though to be fair, each of the cast performed brilliantly. A very high standard throughout.

It was no surprise to see a standing ovation at the end of the performance at The Atkinson, Southport.

However, what was a surprise was that the host encouraged the audience to take a picture or video, and Culture Calendar needed no further encouragement, with not person in their seat .. which included us.

A night filled with high energy song and dance from start to finish, and great to see the Theatres packed out.

If you’re not from the North West of England – then we would thoroughly recommend “Come What May” the musical. A tribute to Moulin Rouge. It was a very high energy performance, and we’re certain that you will love it as much as we did.
