Culture Calendar’s Friday Night. An evening with David Olusoga, who many moons ago attended Liverpool University to study the history of slavery.
David graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours and is a celebrated History Professor, OBE, published author, Broadcaster, Presenter, and more!
What was interesting is that David uses the word “Forgotten” throughout his written works, and presenting, but goes on to clarify, “its not that history was forgotten, its that it was never written”.
Culture Calendar Members had hoped that David would touch on his very popular TV Series, “A House Through Time”, but there just wasn’t time. There was a packed audience, just waiting to raise their hand for the Q&A at the end.
