Step into a world of unforgettable theatre coach trips and experiences with Culture Calendar Ladies Social Group.

Our past events todate have been nothing short of spectacular.  Featuring incredible stage sets, performances, classical performances, and modern pop.  All of them unique encounters, and we head to different UK Towns and Cities for a great night of entertainment.

Imagine being in the audience with the legendary Willy Russell at the Shakespeare North Playhouse Theatre, or a breathtaking ballet by Matthew Bourne OBE at The Lowry Theatre.

One of our ladies actually commented on this ballet performance “Loved to see fit young men, with raven black hair dancing barefoot and wearing guy liner”.

This sums up exactly how good our stalls theatre tickets were, and always are, when we attend Theatre Performances!

When only the best will do Ladies!

But Culture Calendar is not only about grooving to the boogie woogie beats of Jools Holland  at The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic with special guest, R&B Soul Singer Ruby Turner.

From iconic Rod Stewart live, to the festive charm of White Christmas the musical, we had the very best seats.  Culture Calendar coach trips and events will captivate your heart and soul.

To be able to sing in a concert hall that seats more than 11,000 people, without a microphone, pitch perfect, we loved seeing a mezmerising performance from Italian Tenor Andrea Bocelli at The M&S Bank Arena.  Such a bonus that Andrea’s son, Matteo Bocelli also sang at the Music Concert.

If classical music concerts are not typically your choice, then there is always an intimate evening with the hilarious, down to earth, Mr nice guy Johnny Vegas   who we saw at The Shakespeare North Playhouse Theatre in Prescot.  Culture Calendar also attended a women’s charity fashion show event at Prescot’s Shakespeare North Playhouse Theatre, which raised thousands of pounds for a good cause.

Let’s not forget regular outstanding performances from National Theatre Live, and the mind bending talents of Derren Brown  Showman Tour at The Liverpool Empire Theatre.  I mean … How could he know the things he knows?

Prefer to watch the professionals whisk their way around a dance floor with a night of Strictly Come Dancing?  We’re booked for Riverdance in 2025 – will you  join us?

You will need to book fast, as we have a very limited window to secure the best possibility available for Culture Calendar Coach Trips.  So don’t delay to secure the best!

But, one of our favourite events todate, was “An audience with a man with 9 lives, former BBC Journalist John Sweeney which we saw at Edge Hill University Arts Centre, Ormskirk.  What a life.  What experiences.  Absolutely captivating, we would book to see John Sweeney again in a heart beat!  Author of several best selling books, and for good reason.
