Its safe to say, that Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, absolutely smashed any and all expectations as they performed live at Liverpool Philharmonic 28th May 2023.

To have Ruby Turner appear as a special guest was a big bonus too. Jools & Ruby are such a powerhouse of talent.

Next ? Any chance that we could book a coach trip to see Hootenanny / Hogmanay with Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra ? Now that would really be something, right ?

Less than an hour into Jools Holland sell out Rhythm & Blues Music concert, and every single person (in the stalls) was on their their feet. Dancing. Clapping. Singing, and just having the best night!

Jools Holland touched on how he became so passionate about playing the piano as a young child…. the musicians in his family, and the people and music that continue to influence him today!

Jools introduced many of his Orchestra by name before their solo performance – a fantastic opportunity for such talented musicians to shine!

As for Ruby ? Well … if you haven’t seen Ruby Turner performing live … she is so passionate, and has incredible stage presence too!
