Well, this was a first for me personally.

I was invited to my first ever press night, by The Lowry Theatre, Manchester! “Thank you so much for the complimentary seats”. I’m so grateful.

A press night too! It was quite amazing to be sitting amongst Theatre Critics and Theatre Bloggers who are regularly invited to review a Theatre or Stage Performance performance which sometimes also includes celebrities!

Edward Scissorhands, Matthew Bournes New Adventure was enchanting from start to finish. 🎭 It will no doubt capture your heart, as it did mine.

Edward Scissorhand New Adventure is brought to life with humour. A humour that is bittersweet for the incomplete boy, after the eccentric inventor passes away, leaving Edward alone in a remote castle.

With scissors for hands, Edward begins a journey which will lead him to suburbia, where he finds kindness in a young woman. She see’s beyond Edwards sunken eyes, and the many scares upon his face and embraces the gentleness within him.
