The M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool

The M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool is perfectly situated at The Royal Albert Dock, for some of the best view of the River Mersey, and ofcourse our much loved Three Graces at The Pier Head.

Not so perfect if you are taking public transport to get to the M&S Bank Arena ~ particularly when the weather isn’t so good … and you arrive at the venue with your head looking like a birds nest.

Something that Culture Calendar Members don’t need to worry about however 😉.

Culture Calendar have been organising group events since 2014.

Afterwards, rather than head back to the huge queues that were forming at the nearest car park, (a walk away) we decided to take a trip on the Liverpool Wheel, also based just beside the M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool.

Possibly not the best night to head to the skies in one of these capsules. 

I often wondered why occasionally you would see a capsule with a light on.  I found out that its someone pressing the panic button to get the hell down – because it was scary (for me anyway).  I didn’t press the panic button, but wanted to, as the capsule rocked back and forth.

My friend and I sat rigidly on opposite sides of the Liverpool Wheel Capsule, with a rapid onset of lockjaw, agreeing how spectacular the views were of The M&S Bank Arena, The Liverpool Waterfront, and The Royal Albert Dock.

Morale of the story.  Travel in style with Culture Calendar organized coach trips. Don’t bother with parking, and know that we secure only the best possible ticket availability way in advance for our social group for adults.
